The Finance Shared Service Center is part of the HQ Finance function at Flying Tiger Copenhagen. The team is professional and informal with 31 team members located in our office at Strandgade – in the centre of Copenhagen. 

You will refer directly to the Director, Finance Shared Service Center.

About the position

The Accounting Manager provides services which meet or exceed the expectations of our partners and stores. Moreover, your main responsibility will be the establishment of good corporation among all stakeholders and the Finance Shared Service Center team. 

You will be responsible for the financial reporting for our new e-commerce entity and you will prepare the monthly financial reporting according to the Accounting and Reporting manual. Also, you will ensure the completion of the year end reporting and delivery of requested documentation to auditors.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Ensure timely, correct and reconciled reporting and public authorities reporting
• Handle complex accounting issues 
• Solve challenges within finance/accounting area
• Ensure data of high quality
• Be an important part in the continues development of the new web-shop
• Develop Share Service offerings including optimization, automatization and documentation of finance processes
• Participate in projects where Finance/Accounting are stakeholders

Do you have what it takes to succeed in the position?

The preferred Candidate holds a M.Sc. in Finance or similar and have +5 years of relevant experience within a Finance Department – most likely from Retail and with experience from e-commerce. 

Furthermore, you have experience with ERP systems and preparation of reconciliations, documentation and period end closings. You have strong skills in MS Office and particularly in MS Excel. 

In the role, it is also expected you hold a business level proficiency in spoken and written English and Danish. 

You like to be a part of an international, dynamic and fast changing work environment. You have a service minded and professional approach to stores and partners and development of strong partnerships is your core competence.
