At Novozymes, Business Finance is responsible for partnering towards various business areas helping business to drive performance, value creation and profitability in close partnership with the global Division Leadership Teams. As part of Business Finance, you will help empower people, enable decision making and create the agility that will strengthen Novozymes’ competitive edge.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:

Taking on a ‘CFO mindset’ and work closely with our Operations, Supply and Quality (OSQ) organization. You will take full Business Finance responsibility of OSQ and be part of the EVP leadership team taking an active part in setting the EVP area strategy with focus on driving the productivity agenda.

Responsibilities:

• Act as Business Partner and trusted financial advisor, responsible for driving all planning, forecasting, reporting and follow up activities on cost and profitability in OSQ.
• Drive financial agenda and performance management in OSQ through value steering and relevant reporting and analysis.
• Be responsible for driving business review meetings (BRM) incl. facilitating cross functional meetings with top management and build the storyline for the overall performance in the area.
• Being a member of the Corporate Investment Committee and proactively support and challenge business cases and business decisions to secure financially sound decision making.
• Actively contribute to strategy development and ad hoc finance- and business projects
• Participating in the continuous development and optimization of financial processes and tools
• Leading and continuously creating a learning environment for a global OSQ finance team of 6 employees
• Member of the Business Finance leadership team, take active part in setting direction for BusinessFinance and in driving organizational development for Business Finance

The position reports to the VP of Business Finance and is located in Denmark but will have a dotted line to the EVP and business area that you support.

To succeed you must hold:

• 10+ years of experience and solid financial background within Business Finance/Business Partnering/ FP&A and with a proficient financial toolbox., (incl. experience with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and providing financial business support)
• A university degree in business administration, finance or economics with good academic track record. MBA, Master’s or similar is preferred.
• Proven leadership track record, incl. remote leadership
• A passion for driving business performance where you act as trusted advisor and challenge business in a positive and pragmatic way.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence leaders
• Excellent Excel, PowerPoint and English skills
