Welcome to Food & Health Customer Co-Creation

n our new and ambitious Food & Health Customer Co-Creation unit, we help our customers develop food and beverage products and dietary supplements that appeal to modern consumer demands. We are a dynamic and collaborative organization that works Agile and with consumer product prototyping to design and construct new concepts with customers. 

In this role you´ll make an impact by:

• Taking responsibility for driving expertise building on the food matrix for plant-based foods, in particular meat analogues and support that Novozymes´ capabilities within this area are leveraged across other functions such as application research and technical service 
• Actively participate in co-development projects with customers on plant-based food products as well as prototype production and analyses
• Perform compositional and functional studies on food prototypes (in particular meat analogues)
• Creating illustrative visualizations of data to excite our customers’ product developers and marketing people on the benefits delivered by our biological solutions
• Being proactive regarding customers’ plant-based food questions or requests, as well as assess the benefits of consumer products and make engaging proposals for product renovation
• Supporting Novozymes’ product development on meat analogues in creating the technical foundation for attractive consumer benefits and claims, together with our application research, marketing and consumer insight teams

To succeed you must hold:

• Essential: Food scientist or similar with min 2-3 years practical hands-on experience in plant proteins or plant-based foods, preferably within the area of meat analogues 
• A mindset where you:
  • Draw pleasure in employing skilled communication – both written and oral – to lay the groundwork for meaningful and long-term customer relationships
  • Work both collectively and independently, thriving in the evolving nature of Agile WoW
  • Get a buzz out of collaborating with multiple sets of internal and external stakeholders from diverse backgrounds
  • Reimagining the future of plant-based food makes you jump out of bed in the morning
  • This position craves a dynamic and sociable person with a lets-do-it-together attitude – whether you’re calling the shots or taking the occasional backseat.
