You know your agile stuff and love a challenge

With options to be based out of one of our offices in Asia or in Europe with several travels to Asian countries, you will join the Agile Concepts team, where a team of agile coaches across the world will be leading, facilitating and supporting the agile transformation in ECCO. We have only just started and there are amble opportunities for you to dream and shape the path forward.

Because you are stepping into a fairly new team and a new position, you will have a great deal of impact on how we approach our agile journey – but we imagine that you will be:

  • Part of designing our agile operating model in collaboration with the leadership team
  • Coaching leaders and teams
  • Drive the formation and facilitation of necessary communities
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement processes within the teams and across the organisation
  • Design necessary onboarding for many new colleagues
  • And of course all the things your sharp mind knows, that we others don’t see

In this role, the most important aspect will be your ability to help everybody to make sense of new terminology and practices from a human and business perspective. Bring fluffy stuff down to earth, so that we are motivated to take the numerous small steps to realise our dreams. You will further thrive in a setting where nothing is set in stone, and where you get to work with other experts and novices in a beautiful mix. Also, you master that amazing balance between empathetically listening and being inclusive and knowing when to be assertive. We believe your words can move mountains! While we are very open to various backgrounds, we do as a minimum expect that you have worked in a similar role before.

Being a bit more specific

Educational background could be a bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Project Management or Business Administration. We would prefer a minimum of 5 years of experience in Agile software development, coaching and training. Demonstrated experience as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master or Product Owner is highly desirable. It will be a plus if you have certifications in agile such as Scrum Alliance (CSM, CSP), (PSM, PSPO), International Consortium for Agile (ICAgile) or Project Management Institute (PMI-ACP). The knowledge and skills we are looking for is, thorough understanding of agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, Lean Management, scaled frameworks (e.g. SAFe, LeSS, Nexus, SoS, DAD). Ability to lead agile transformations and coach teams to adopt agile practices in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, interpersonal, facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
