We are looking for a Business Data Analyst to join our team in creating actionable customer insight that makes a difference, and that can be transformed into a commercial agenda. The customer insight we work with are based on any data that creates insights of why customers act as they do, helping us to predict and influence future customer behavior.

About Customer Agency

Customer Agency started in December 2015, based on a belief that B2B companies were facing huge growth opportunities if they were able to act customer centered so the market really could see the differences between the alternatives in the market. This belief has let to several academic projects with among others, Copenhagen Business School, and created a solid ground for our consultancy work.

We believe that if companies love what we do, then we will grow – but growth as such is not an aim in itself. We do not compromise on the core of what we offer our clients. This also means that there are clients and projects we have to say “no thank you” to – and we do so when it is not part of our strategy. About the Role

Our philosophy and the way we advise our clients is based on a solid “out-side-in” approach. Consequently, we love data. Especially data linked to customer behavior and customer preferences, which can be transformed into actions helping our clients to grow their business and to stand out from competition.

Your role is to make sure we have the necessary data available, either internal customer data from our clients or data we gather from our clients’ customers through different surveys. You will be in charge of setting up surveys that can generate the required customer data. You will develop dashboards that can report data to the client. You will perform the analysis required to crunch data in a way, that enables us to use the insights in building growth- and transformation strategies to our clients.

All the way through, you will work closely together with our BI Director. Together you will set the direction for our way of gathering data, crunching data and presenting data. Over time you will assist our directors as the data expert in customer meetings in the sales process and when delivering results to our clients and ultimately act as the successor of our BI Director.

This full-time position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark. The position requires that you understand Danish, but most importantly that your English skills are excellent, as most of our clients and contacts are non-danish speaking.

About You

You are focused on results, a self-starter, and have demonstrated success in using analytics to help your customers maximise the value and strategic impact of their data in solving their business challenges.

The perfect candidate will at minimum have experience in the following areas:

Required:
  • 3+ years of experience working in a commercial environment with elements of consultancy in their role
  • Experience communicating complex solutions to audiences with varied technical abilities and understanding
  • Experienced in using advanced statistical techniques
  • Advanced use of Excel
  • Development of Dashboards
Advantages if you have:
  • Understanding of SQL
  • VBA programing
  • Html programing
  • Intermediate knowledge of Python or R
  • Intermediate knowledge of DAX
  • Knowledge of JavaScript
  • Knowledge of Text analytics
  • Programming in Forsta/Confirmit
