We are seeking our new CEO to strengthen the organization for next phase.

The company’s next step is to scale-up the research and development process of the paper, barrier and bottle processing for the commercialization of the finalized product.

The joint venture is backed by two leading companies of their respective business fields. ALPLA is the world leader in the development of innovative plastic solutions and BILLERUD is a leading company in paper and packaging materials made from primary fiber.

A paper bottle in every hand – that’s what the future holds when Paboco’s project succeeds. The potential is huge, and the company is well on the way to reaching this vision.

THE POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ultimately, it is the task of the CEO to develop the growth scenario, shape a high performing team and to “make it happen”by leading the organization from a R&D focused small-scale production organization to a full-scale industry partner for the prospective global client network.

This shall be obtained by building and developing a strong management team and creating an environment that promotes high performing teams as well as attracting, retaining, and developing world-class talent, cultivating a high performing, diverse and agile team culture.

We expect you to be building strategic partnerships and relationships to drive growth and being the public champion for the business as well as supporting sales and establish credibility throughout the customer and partner network.

You will have full profit and loss responsibility and will be representing the company towards the board, shareholders and investors, and acting as primary spokesperson for the company.

By utilizing the strength of having BK and ALPLA as owners – you will contribute to reach agreed goals faster and build alliances and partnerships with other organizations.

YOUR PROFILE

You are most likely a well-rounded profile covering leadership, commercial and preferably technological skills. You have already demonstrated success on senior level and has a proven record of managing growth and industrialization scenarios successfully.

On top of this you are:

• A people manager with good project management and coaching skills.
• Ideally having industry know-how from the plastic/paper and/or packaging industry respectively FMCG experience and excellent track-record within the industry and client universe.
• Experienced in scaling up innovative products including production and supply chain in a B2B scenario or experience in the scale up of a startup and successful integration to corporate structures.
• Able to work in an entrepreneurial environment and to drive and manage new deals as well as the drive to show results, deliver on-time and communicate results internally and externally.
• Understanding the role and working relationship with the Board and multiple corporate stakeholders.
• Holding a relevant professional education and background providing motivating leadership, strategic work as well as financial understanding
• Fluent in English, other languages like Danish and/or German of advantage.

In the nearer future we are to gather the production under one roof and create the ideal physical environment for the coming years of developing new production techniques and equipment in the greater Copenhagen area.

Paboco A/S is an international tech scale up working to change the bottle industry for good. Our focus is within research and development in the paper, barrier and bottle processing and manufacturing. Paboco is situated in Slangerup in northern Zealand near Copenhagen.  We have close collaboration with the industry through our owners, Swedish BillerudKorsnäs paper packaging solutions provider and the Austrian Alpla, bottle manufacturing specialist.
