About the position

The Finance Shared Service Center is part of the HQ Finance function at Flying Tiger Copenhagen. The team is professional and informal with 31 team members located in our office at Strandgade – in the centre of Copenhagen.

You will refer directly to the Director Finance Shared Service Center.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Key controls in central warehouse inventory processes in close cooperation with Logistics (cycle counting, adjustments, WMS/AX synchronization, price variations, scrapping and FIFO price control etc.)
• Month end processes – AX data extract and preparation for Financial Controlling
• Inventory closing in AX
• Year end counting
• Goods in transit calculation and monthly closing processes
• Standard charge monitoring, calculation and booking
• Surprise bag calculation and booking
• Claim compensation to ZEAS partners
• Product discount allocation to ZEAS partners
• Pallet price regulation
• Blended rate verification in AX (part of cost price analysis)
• Cost price analysis
• Sales price analysis
• Ensure all deadlines, processes and documentation in month-end closing are met
• Optimizing all processes and guidelines to ensuring constant development
• Participate and run projects within the team
• Ensure backup plan within the team
• Preparation of material for auditors and other stakeholders

Do you have what it takes to succeed in the position?

As Financial Controller, your main responsibility will be the overview of inventory processes of all central warehouses from a finance perspective in close cooperation with Logistics

Skills and experiences

• Min 5 years of experience from a job in a finance function, preferable as a Financial Controller
• Microsoft Office skills, especially in excel
• Proficient in English both oral and written
• Experience with ERP systems, as well as procedure within accounting and reconciliation process
