Two Software Engineers to join CPE Development at Nuuday

About the position

We are looking for two software engineers to help us continue our efforts in providing the best possible experience for our customers and provide them with the features of tomorrow. You will get the opportunity to impact over a million households and you will be encouraged to be creative and think outside the box. We are not here to do what has already been done.

You will join the CPE Development team within the Connectivity department at Nuuday. Here you will get to work on a range of different software systems and applications. Most of what we do involve embedded Linux programming. You will work with optimization and bug-fixing in our open-source software running directly on our Linux based CPEs (modems/routers) as well as develop a wide variety of new features that
will help our customers get the most out of their internet connection. We are a very flexible team and try never to limit ourselves. We have fun with our work and we believe that great ideas should be realized.

Primary work areas:

• Embedded Linux programming, shell scripts, C/C++/Rust
• Develop new features and functionality for our fleet of Linux based routers
• Work with ARM based architectures
• User space components as well as kernel space functionality
• Optimization and bug-fixing

You will also get the opportunity to work with

• Configuration and functionality revolcing around WiFi, Ethernet, DSL, Fiber, Coax, and LTE
• General tasks within DevOps
• Software development with Linux, Python, Go, Rust, Javascript, PHP, testing (manual/automated) and cloud (AWS/Azure)

What will you need to succeed?

You love diving into new things in order to solve a problem. You strive to be the best at what you do and you want to have fun doing it. You have experience working with embedded Linux programming or (if recent graduate) have some knowledge/experience and are eager to learn and develop your skills. We expect you to be able to work out of our office in Aarhus or Copenhagen, however, hybrid or fully remote working can also be discussed. Experience working with, or interest in, data networks is a plus.
