ICEpower is looking for a Director of Operations / COO to lead our operations and quality in close cooperation with our R&D, NPI-, and PMO-functions. ICEpower is in strong growth. Our customers are the leading audio brands on the world market. We develop new audio products for our customers (either full turnkey solutions or customised PCB-solutions). Our solutions are manufactured predominantly at outsourced EM- Ses in Thailand.

In ICEpower we pride ourselves to deliver the highest of quality and performance at a cost competitive price, done with engineering excellence and close partnering. Typically, our products are made for a specific customer. This is done by having one of the world’s largest power houses of audio power conversion and electronics for audio, including the best engineers within the fields of Analogue hardware, Digital hardware, Embedded software, Networking, and Mechanics.

You will be leading and developing our team of app. 10-12 employees at our headquarters in Søborg.

The Role

• Leading our operations team and operational performance
• In charge of our external relations to outsourced facilities and different supply partners
• Oversee and improve terms with our supply-partners, in charge of contracts, agreements, negotiations • Together with our team, managing and developing our S&OP, sourcing, processes, and systems com- petences
• Managing and developing our efforts within quality management and processes
• Participate in creating holistic matches between customer requirements, development of products, cost structures and manufacturing
• Becoming a member of the Management Team with influence on all issues affecting our business • Available for various business travels

The Qualifications

• Excellent people management skills in relation to daily management of own team, other ICEpower de- partments, building relationships with our production partners, our many sub-suppliers (distributors, semiconductor-industry, component manufacturers) and customers
• Good knowledge of the EMS industry from Asia is a must – knowledge of EMS industry in Europe/Mexico is a bonus
• Good knowledge of production, cost structures, calculations (componentry, finished goods etc.)
• Good knowledge of materials control, purchasing in the electronics industry
• Good knowledge of ERP-systems; preferable knowledge of PLM/PDM-systems – we use Arena
• Proficient with commonly accepted project management frameworks and methodologies (stage/gate ,agile processes)
• Experienced in oral, written, and visual communication – including fluency in English
• Preferably an engineering degree and / or vast EMS-handling experience
• Hands on attitude
